A special feature can be seen on the base: the central signature GTM 71 is hand-incised into the clay, surrounded by the circular dedication “GEWIDMET DEM SCHULDORF”. This provenance suggests an exclusive commission or a significant honorary gift within the context of the architecturally renowned German „Schuldorf“ projects of the 1970s.
