DESCRIPTION
This exceptional set of four nesting side tables is a rare design classic from the Italian plastic era. Designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina, the ‚Marema‘ model impresses with its sculptural cylindrical form and the innovative use of high-quality plastic. The set can be stacked into a compact column or arranged as a group of versatile side tables. The characteristic vertical lines of the legs and the smooth surface perfectly embody the progressive spirit of the 1970s.
CONDITION
Good, used vintage condition with an authentic patina. Due to its age, slight color variations in the plastic are possible. There are two small chips on the upper edges of the characteristic ribbed structure (see photo 09). However, these do not affect the stability and emphasize the charming character of this 50-year-old design classic.
