DESCRIPTION

For sale is a large-format wall mirror by the Italian designer Aldo Tura from the 1970s. The frame features hand-applied goatskin (parchment) under high-gloss lacquer with a marbled texture. The mirror glass is finished with a high-quality bevelled edge (facette). The piece comes from a single-owner collection and bears the original manufacturer’s label on the back. It is equipped for both vertical and horizontal mounting. To complement this piece, we are offering a matching parchment box and picture frame from the same collection in separate listings.

CONDITION

Despite its age of several decades, the mirror is in good, authentic original condition with a deep luster. The bevelled mirror glass is clear. In the area of the 45° mitre joints, there are typical fine hairline cracks in the lacquer, which do not affect the stability. The frame also shows an authentic patina.
