Mosaic Coffee Table by Berthold Müller | Germany 1960s

​This round coffee table was produced in the workshops of Berthold Müller. The tabletop features a mosaic of light, handcrafted mosaic tiles and a geometric border, incorporating individual gold-colored shimmering stones. The base is crafted from walnut and features four tapered legs with characterful brass tips.

Good, authentic vintage condition. The mosaic tiles and gold elements are intact and firmly set. The light embedding material shows age-related fine crazing (crackle), which underlines its original character. The walnut frame and legs show occasional, authentic scuffs and signs of wear. The brass tips are stable and feature a natural patina.
