For sale is a pair of D40 cantilever chairs, an iconic 1928 design by Marcel Breuer. The chairs feature a finely balanced S-curve made of chrome-plated tubular steel, paired with white core leather and black lacquered wooden armrests. The signature lacing on the backrest emphasizes the structural clarity of this Bauhaus classic. A timeless set that harmoniously combines aesthetics and dynamic form.
CONDITION
The condition is rated as very well-maintained. The chairs originate from a private household in the 1980s. The white core leather shows authentic signs of wear.
