DESCRIPTION

Authentic, organically shaped stone sculpture by German artist Hans-Hermann Lippold, 1971. This abstract work in beige natural stone features a characteristic porous surface with slight indentations, reminiscent of a lunar landscape. The piece offers a completely different view from every angle, emphasizing the theme of transformation. It is hand-signed on the underside, including title and year. The sculpture rests on a simple pine wood base, providing a contrast between the wood grain and the tactile stone. A classic collector’s piece of German post-war modernism.

CONDITION
