DESCRIPTION
For sale is an extraordinary unique sculpture from 1987. With an impressive total height of ca. 94 cm, this is a technically demanding work of Eastern European glass art, impressing through its sheer size and massive presence. The sculpture is formed from solid glass, featuring a subtle green-yellow tint characteristic of high-quality studio glass. Inside the glass body, organic vertical structures appear like frozen waves. The interplay with light gives the object a fascinating depth and emphasizes its sculptural dynamics. The piece rests securely on a heavy, geometric base of polished dark granite. The piece is hand-signed and dated on the lower edge of the glass. The engraving is inscribed as ‚Caviersecha‘ and marked with ‚X 87‘. This detailed marking and the provenance from a specialized Eastern European artist’s studio emphasize the unique status of this collector’s item.
CONDITION
The sculpture is in very good and authentic original condition. Occasional production-related cloudiness or very fine inclusions are visible inside the solid glass body. As this is a solid, closed object, these typical manufacturing characteristics cannot be removed and serve as documentation of the manual studio production. The granite base is flawless.
